Benefits of Walking

Walking can be a great way to get the body moving!

To get benefits from walking it is recommended to take 3,000 steps in 30 minutes five days a week or 1,000 steps in 10 minutes 3 days per week .

 

Brisk walking  has been shown to help with anxiety and depression.  30 minutes/ 3 days a week of brisk walking will be sufficient to see health benefits.
